Although he will continue to paint the traditional Derbyshire landscapes that he loves so much, Derek has often been asked if he would copy the French impressionists.  So always looking for a new challenge he has produced these replicas and as you can see for yourself the results are extremely impressive!

He has to study the paintings thoroughly beforehand to understand the artist’s style and technique and Derek will be doing lots more, so if there is a particular impressionist who is your favourite, contact Derek, let him know and he will complete one for you!
